Lime in the Coconut Smoothie recipe made with JOYÀ Glow turmeric elixir blend

It's now possible to transport yourself to a tropical paradise without stepping foot on a plane. This adaptogenic, piña colada-inspired smoothie featuring our Glow turmeric elixir blend is from our Smoothie Horoscope collection (hello Gemini!). It's packed with flavor and superfoods that are loaded with antioxidant power and help ease the body's stress response, support digestion and relieve inflammation. And frozen, it makes a very very good popsicle :)

Ingredients

  • ½ large banana (or 1 small)
  • ⅓ cup mango (about ¼ large mango)
  • ⅓ cup pineapple
  • 1-inch knob fresh ginger root (peeling optional)
  • juice of half a lime
  • 1 tbsp JOYÀ Glow turmeric elixir blend
  • crushed ice
  • coconut milk
  • optional toppings/mix-ins: shredded or flaked coconut, hemp seeds, cacao nibs, bee pollen*

*Note: omit bee pollen to keep the recipe vegan.

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients (except toppings/mix-ins) to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and no chunks remain.
  2. Pour into glass(es), optionally add toppings/mix-ins and enjoy!
Pro Tip: Refrigerate any leftovers for up to 24 hours. Alternatively, pour leftovers into an ice cube tray and use to make other smoothies, or freeze into popsicles!
