Bliss: Cacao Elixir Blend

Focus: Matcha-Moringa Elixir Blend

Glow: Turmeric Elixir Blend

What are Bliss’ functional benefits?

The Mayans were onto something as the first to introduce cacao ceremonies to the world, back in 250 AD. What was once enjoyed in a clay cup— a drink made of roasted and ground cocoa beans mixed with water (and sometimes flavored with chili peppers, vanilla, honey and flowers) has now been elevated into the ultimate feel good elixir blend, bringing ultimate bliss.

  • Adaptogenic — helps the body adapt to, and defend against stress. Bliss also helps restore and maintain balance of hormones, the nervous system, and the entire body’s functioning.
  • Immune support — helps to both stimulate (boost) and regulate (balance) the body’s immune response based on its needs.
  • Calm + improved sleep — promotes calmness of the mind, which can help in cases of insomnia due to an overactive mind. (Fun fact: Chinese monks used reishi mushroom to improve meditation.)
  • Mood — contains mucuna pruriens, and herb traditionally used and studied for its ability to support balanced mood, including through impacting key neurotransmitters.
  • Antioxidant support — normal metabolism causes “oxidative stress” that can damage our cells and DNA, and antioxidants help prevent this damage.

Bliss is delicious as hot cacao (and chocolate milk)! What are other ways I can get a full serving?

  • Smoothies
  • Blend into hot/iced coffee for a mocha
  • Mix into oatmeal, yogurt, chia pudding
  • Bake brownies
  • Blend with frozen bananas = chocolate nice cream
  • Check out our blog for recipes featuring Bliss

When should I drink it?

Bliss is great to enjoy any time of day or night for its antioxidant and stress support. It also contains a number of adaptogens and botanicals that can provide cognitive support, and we love to enjoy it to help promote calm when winding down in the evening - or any time.

What are Focus’ functional benefits?

Focus, as its name implies, also provides unique brain-loving benefits. It’s no wonder that Zen and Buddhist monks have used both green tea and lion’s mane mushroom for centuries to support focus and wakefulness during long periods of meditation.

  • Adaptogenic — helps the body adapt to, and defend against stress. Also helps restore and maintain balance of hormones, the nervous system, and the entire body’s functioning.
  • Immune support — helps to both stimulate (boost) and regulate (balance) the body’s immune response based on its needs.
  • Cognitive support — Focus features herbs and mushrooms traditionally used and extensively researched for their ability to support cognition and learning by promoting nerve health, enhancing focus, memory, creativity and reaction time, and reducing mental fatigue.
  • Calm alertness — the unique combination of caffeine and L-theanine in matcha promotes a jitter-free, attentive wakefulness. Plus, ashwagandha is one of the most powerful and calming adaptogens.
  • Athletic support — ashwagandha’s traditional use for strength and stamina is also supported by studies showing that its use is associated with significant increases in muscle mass and strength, and enhanced recovery, body fat metabolism and cardio endurance.
  • Antioxidant support — normal metabolism causes “oxidative stress” that can damage our cells and DNA, and antioxidants help prevent this damage.

I love my matcha latte, but what other ways can I incorporate Focus into my routine?

  • Green smoothies
  • Mix into overnight oats, yogurt, chia pudding and energy balls
  • Blend with frozen bananas, mint + cacao nibs = matcha mint chip nice cream
  • Check out our blog for recipes featuring Focus

When should I drink it?

Focus is great in the morning or midday when you need some energy or cognitive support. We love it at the start of or during the work day, when engaging in a creative project, or before a workout, yoga practice or meditation session.

As Focus contains caffeine, it’s not recommended to consume after mid-to-late afternoon (the ideal cut-off time will differ for each person, depending on the rate at which you metabolize caffeine).

  • Adaptogenic — helps the body adapt to, and defend against stress. Also helps restore and maintain balance of hormones, the nervous system, and the entire body’s functioning
  • Immune support — a number of herbs work synergistically to stimulate and support proper functioning of the immune system by increasing white blood cells, strengthening the lungs and helping relieve the seasonal flu, congestion, coughs + colds.

  • Antioxidant support — normal metabolism causes “oxidative stress” that can damage our cells and DNA, and antioxidants help prevent this damage.
