- Add all ingredients (except toppings/mix-ins) to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and no chunks remain.
- Pour into glass(es), optionally add toppings/mix-ins and enjoy!
Bliss Blueberry Nut Butter Smoothie

This DELICIOUS smoothie was inspired by a smoothie that I used to get at my gym many years ago, and always set me up perfectly to tackle the day. It boasts the perfect balance of protein and healthy fats, gets its sweetness 100% naturally - from the fruit, and is packed with antioxidants, fibre, nutrients (including Vitamin C, Vitamin K and potassium), and adaptogenic, mood-supporting goodness from JOYÀ's Bliss cacao elixir. Perfect for post-workout nourishing or an energizing breakfast, decadence has literally never been this good or good for you.
Ingredients
- ½ large banana (or 1 small)
- ⅓ cup blueberries (frozen or fresh)
- ⅓ cup avocado (about ¼ large avocado)
- 1 tbsp JOYÀ Bliss cacao elixir blend
- 2 tbsp nut butter of choice (almond, pecan or hazelnut is great here!)
- optional: scoop of your favorite protein powder (plain, vanilla or cacao)
- crushed ice
- water or milk of choice
- optional toppings/mix-ins: hemp seeds, cacao nibs, shredded coconut, bee pollen*
*Note: omit bee pollen to keep the recipe vegan.
